How to clean a TV screen:

Whether you have an LED or OLED flat screen TV, or something more vintage, follow these tips to keep the picture looking its best.

  1. Turn off your TV
  2. Gently wipe over the screen with a soft, dry microfibre cloth, focusing on any smudges or fingerprints – wipe the whole horizontally first, then go back over top to bottom
  3. Dampen the cloth with a small amount of water, wipe over the TV body or frame, then remove excess moisture with a dry cloth
  4. Never spray water or liquid directly onto a TV or other electrical appliance
  5. Don’t use any type of soap, window cleaner or solvent on LED, OLED or flat screen TVs
